Take a break from the madness of the holiday season and decorate with us! The projects you can do with Mohawk Finishing products are endless but this week we're going with something simple to balance out this crazy time of the year. Anyone can master this DIY so read on to see what supplies you'll need and get ready to get crafty!

 Step One

Buy a plain wooden christmas tree from any craft store. This doesn't need to be expensive or super high quality, any tree will work. If you're feeling adventureous and have more time, trest your wood working skills and make your own!

 Step Two

Select the Solar-Lux NGR Dye Stains you would like to use. For our color scheme we used Sea Blue, Van Dyke Brown, and Jet Black. Pour just a small amount of each color chosen into individuals cups or containers. You will also need a brush to apply the stain. We used a foam brush but any kind will work.

 Step Three

Dip the brush in the stain and gently brush the stain on the wood, going with the direction of the grain. Repeat this step again using a different color in each section. You don't need much stain because a little bit goes a long way. 

Step Four

Admire your masterpiece and give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done! Place it indoors or outdoors, it will be a great addition to your holiday collection.
